Current Career Opportunities

Medicinal Chemist

Tetra is seeking one or more PhD level medicinal chemists at our Grand Rapids, MI or Chicago, IL locations.  The ideal candidate has 5+ years of medicinal chemistry experience with a track record of publication (academic or patents).

Drug discovery is a team oriented, multi-disciplinary activity.  The ideal candidate has a broad appreciation of compound lead optimization for potency, selectivity, physical chemical properties, absorption, metabolism and potential for toxicity.  Prior experience with discovery of CNS active drugs is preferred.  Good communication skills are needed to be successful in a team oriented environment.  Prior success with a project incorporating structure-guided drug design is a plus.

Applicants must be eligible to work in Michigan or Illinois.
